The New Testament word for "church" — ekklesia — means "the called-out ones." It refers to a people, not a place. From the earliest days of the faith, believers gathered in homes, in open fields, in catacombs, and wherever the Spirit led. The building is a convenience; the body is the church.

This means that when you tune in to a live broadcast, open your Bible, and lift your voice in worship alongside thousands of other believers — you are participating in the body of Yeshua. Distance does not diminish the reality of the Spirit's presence. Almighty Yahweh is not confined to four walls.

We want to be honest: online church is not a complete substitute for in-person fellowship. Hebrews 10:25 exhorts believers not to forsake "the assembling of ourselves together." There are dimensions of community — breaking bread, laying on of hands, bearing one another's burdens in tangible ways — that require physical presence.

If you have access to a local, Spirit-filled, Word-grounded assembly, we encourage you to be planted there. Online ministry is a supplement and a bridge — not a replacement for the local church.
