We Believe — and We Respect Your Right Not To
A short word from ETGF on why holding strong convictions and respecting every person's freedom to choose are not opposites — they are both part of what it means to share the gospel faithfully.
We are believers. Unashamed ones.
We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. We believe Yeshua rose from the dead. We believe the Kingdom of God is real, that it is coming, and that every human being has been invited into it. We will not apologize for those convictions, and we will not hide them to make anyone more comfortable — including ourselves.
But here is something equally important, and we want to say it just as plainly:
We respect your right to believe differently.
Not as a polite formality. Not as a disclaimer we add to soften the edges of our message. We mean it. The freedom to choose what you believe — or do not believe — is not something we merely tolerate. It is something we honor, because it is built into the very nature of genuine faith.
Yeshua never forced anyone to follow Him. He invited. He taught. He loved. And then He let people decide. Some said yes. Some walked away. He let them walk — and He loved them still.
That is the model we follow at ETGF.
We will tell you what we believe, clearly and without apology. We will share the gospel because we genuinely believe it has the power to change lives. But we will never pressure you, shame you, or treat you as lesser for where you are on your journey. Your decision is yours. It always has been.
